Now it’s clear why Mr. Massacre is the only one amongst the other 4 (dubiously honored national artists of the Malacañang) who is up in arms on the contentions from critics. It is because of his political intentions. He wants to be familiar. So when you see his face on campaign, you will see the face of the oppressed. The face of the unfortunate. The face of talent. Disgusting!
Would you trust someone horrid and vulgar rule something kaput? I don’t think so.
I have five (Tattoos). Anytime I have a feeling about anything, I get tattooed. I have a poem I wrote on my ribcage and a symbol for strength on my neck, and my boyfriend Brian’s name tattooed next to my pie.
Friday, I was in Glorietta 3 with Oths and Brutus. We whored Coron Village from 10am to 10pm, outdoors–in a tent–like an oven. My dad forced Oths and Brutus to wear black shirts. They griped all throughout the day but they were still peppy and productive.
I thought we had the best booth.
I was on Facebook the entire day coaxing people to come for a chitchat for I was bored to tears . . .
Until, I saw my friends Philip and Renz from LJC, who had their own booth. I was so glad for I haven’t seen them in almost 1 year.
Plo visited us after her interview. On the way home, I suggested that we all sleep in one house because we’ll see each other again the next day. They all opposed because they knew that the night would turn into an alcohol binge. Thank goodness they said no.
Saturday, was intoxicating.
An’Jour just bought a new house and she had it blessed. We we’re all late of course. We arrived right after the blessing just in time for the detrimental lechon baka. And we all know that any invite from An’Jour is an excuse for getting inebriated. Who would say no?
But of course I just had a few because Co and I had to hustle to 19 East for Ruby Rose’s Birthday slash benefit gig.
I manned the ticketing booth for a while.
Then they made Co and I change to Justice for Ruby Rose Jimenez shirts.
It was a great show. The best way to pay tribute to the life and death of Ruby Rose is through music and it was a success. The gig has managed to be both solemn and fun thanks to Rochelle Barrameda and family, plus the organizers of the fundraiser.
Southborder was one of the bands who serenaded the friends and family of Ruby.
The boys of Lie Awake Odessa gave the audience a taste of rock music. This is one of my favorite performances of the band yet. And I’m not being biased.
Radha composed a beautiful song especially for Ruby Rose.
Ara Mina and Alicia Meyer, good friends of Rocehlle and Jimwell, gave fine performances as well.
Nyoy Volante did a great interpretation of an Elton John song.
And oh, Pupil was there. Need I say more?
Then Sunday, Co and I visited Janis O.
We rewarded ourselves with food, lots of food, in ATC after the long and tiring weekend.
Good Night.

If you’re on Facebook, you must have noticed that people are up in arms regarding their PLDT internet connection. Friends say that they’ve been experiencing problems with their connection for a couple of days now. PLDT should do something about this. Some people use their services for their work or business. They should at least respond to the queries of their subscribers. My friends tell me that they are being very quiet about this.
